Event Description: This event will look how the Construction Industry is reacting to the current pandemic as it impacts on everyone. We will review what the legal implications are, what we need to consider and share good practice of how we are adapting. We have three speakers each providing a presentation followed by a question and answers opportunity.
The Speakers are: -
Tricia Morrison, Partner, Hill Dickinson LLP
Tricia will look at current contractual issues for our existing contracts and what we need to consider for our future contracts in order to manage risk. As well as looking at the standard form building contracts, Tricia will consider the common terms of consultant appointments and warranties.”
Mary Cross, Managing Director, ConsultCross Ltd
Mary will be looking at dispute avoidance against standard forms of contracts in light of the recent events. She will call on her expert witness experience in resolution of project delays and programme issues. She will provide guidance on how to avoid conflict by applying good practice.
Alan Robson, Managing Director, Project Four Safety Solutions Ltd
Alan will be looking at Health & Safety provision on site inline with the current Government guidelines. He will share examples of good practice and common-sense to maintain a safe working environment while on site.
