Yolo Town House, one of Newcastle’s newest and hippest venues, played host to this year’s festive drinks party. Despite horrendous weather conditions there was a great turnout by members and non-members for the informal get together, which kicks off the party season in the North East.

Speaking about the event, Chris Jude, regional director North East and Cumbria said: “Thanks to everyone who joined us, it was great to see everyone brave the elements and meet up for drinks to mark the final event for the year. Exciting times are ahead for the Newcastle branch, with new committee members and a branch chair joining us in January.

“It was also good to see representatives from fft drop by to say hello, while en route to a black-tie charity event. I’d like to take this opportunity to wish all members and those who have supported the branch throughout the year, a very merry Christmas and a busy and prosperous New Year.”

The new branch chair and committee members will be announced in the New Year, along with information on the first set of events to take place, including information on guest speakers, social events and possible site visits.
