Black Country Garden City Briefing Event

The Black Country LEP, along with the four Black Country local authorities (Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton) and Homes England are working together to create a new 21st Century Garden City, which will connect into existing communities and infrastructure.

Within the Black Country there is a significant number of high-quality investment opportunities that can be offered to developers and other organisations.

The LEP is inviting development managers and designers/architects to the briefing event to hear about these opportunities, share the LEPs vision and understand how you can make your development Black Country Garden City accredited.

The event takes place on Thursday 28th February 2019, at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC Molineux Stadium from 8am until 1pm, where you will have the opportunity to hear about the LEP’s aspirations and see how they could help you.

The event will include:

• Short informative presentations about the Black Country Garden City initiative
• Details on some of the schemes the LEP has already accredited
• What the LEP is trying to achieve through the Garden City initiative
• Detailed expert presentations about practical ways of achieving the Garden City Principles.
