The opening match of the 2025 season. Faculty of Building Golf Society are holding a competitive golf challenge with the “Every Professional in Construction” Golf Society at Sandy Lodge Golf Club, Herts/Middlesex on 20th March 2025.
Faculty of Building Golf Society is opening the 2025 Golf Season with a celebration of St. Georges Day, an event at the home of England Golf on the Hotchkin at the Woodhall Spa Golf National Golf Centre on the 23rd of April 2025. The Hotchkin is a classic heathland course ranked in the top 100 best in the world Golf Courses.
Faculty of Building Golf Society are holding a ‘Ryder Cup style’ golf event open to members and non members, at Oakdale Golf Club on the 19th May 2025 Oakdale Golf Club is an established Parkland course with moorland acres amongst mature pines and only a mile from the centre of Harrogate. Designed by Dr. Alistair MacKenzie Oakdale offers highlights throughout the round. This is a superb opportunity to network in an absorbing peaceful yet competitive atmosphere the afternoon before a major conference in Yorkshire.
The season is well underway and the Faculty of Building Golf Society are holding a competitive golf challenge with the Chartered Surveyors North East Golf Society at Fulford Golf Club, Yorkshire 16th July 2025. Located close to the historic city of York. This course, situated in a heathland and and Parkland setting has been a regular stop for players on the European tour and hosted many prestigious County and National and International events. This is a superb opportunity for Golfing members to network in a slightly different competitive atmosphere, combining in teams with others in our industry with a common objective. A regional qualifier open event for members and non-members alike The match format will be in the style of the Ryder cup and pairs better ball stableford competition, playing handicap is 85% of Couse Handicap based on WHS Handicap index with 2pts win 1pt for a halved match and strokes off lowest handicap differences. timings 9:00 am onwards: Breakfast Role and Coffee on arrival and Practice 09.30am-10.30am Tee Times reserved 3pm onwards: Late Lunch and Golf Prizes.
