Join us for a walking tour around Manchester City Centre, focusing on Place Making, Residential and Mixed-Use Developments. Starting at Chapman Taylor offices, the tour will explore how we as users navigate the city and engage with public spaces, led by Catalina Ionita, BA(Hons) March ARB RIBA AFHEA, an Architect at Chapman Taylor.
Catalina brings a passion for successful placemaking to her work in the residential and mixed-use sectors. She has experience working on a wide range of projects at all work stages, including large residential developments, masterplans, offices, and listed building restorations.
The tour will finish at Nell’s for some pizza, drinks, and networking from 19:30 - 21:00. Nell’s is located on the Kampus site, which is a £250 million new neighbourhood in Manchester city centre by HBD and Capital & Centric, designed by Chapman Taylor. Once home to Manchester Metropolitan University, the site has been transformed into over 500 build-to-rent apartments across a range of new build and refurbished existing buildings.
