The Faculty of Building v EPiC Golf Society Summer Challenge

EPiC v FoB and the Solstice Salver. 

An event for members and non-members alike and as well as the match, individual cards will be scored playing for the Solstice Salver as it’s our June event.  The match format however will be in the style of the Ryder cup and pairs better ball stableford competition, playing handicap is 85% of Course Handicap based on WHS Handicap index with 2pts win, 1pt for a halved match and strokes off lowest handicap differences.

Frilford Heath was founded in 1908 by Dr Harry Challenor (a local physician), A.E. Preston, and T.S. Skurray. The club held its centenary in 2008. It is set amongst 500 acres of important heathland and now comprises 54 holes. The original course, the Red, was designed by J.H. Taylor in 1908 and was modified in the early 1920s by the Frilford club professional, J.H. Turner. The Red is still considered the best of the trio of courses at Frilford, though the original opening holes were altered in the early 1990s to cater for the development of the new Blue course.

11:00 am - noon Tee Times reserved

6pm onwards: Dinner and Golf Prizes.
